Despite the repercussions of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the inflation rate edged down for the first time in six months, said the Cabinet Media Center.
The State has adopted several measures to mitigate the economic impact of the crisis, added the center in a report which included an infographic highlighting the decline in the inflation rate for the first time in six months.
The report attributed the decrease in inflation to the decline in the prices of fruits and vegetables during June 2022.
The report, meanwhile, indicated that the annual urban inflation rate hit – 0.1% in June 2022, compared to 1.1% in last May and 3.3% in last April.
