Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, emphasized on Wednesday the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure Jordan’s participation in Expo Osaka 2025 is presented in the best possible manner, showcasing the nation’s achievements across various sectors.
Qudah made these remarks while chairing a meeting of the National Committee for Supervising Jordan’s Participation, aimed at reviewing the progress of preparations and addressing procedural matters to enhance the success of Jordan’s presence at the event.
The meeting, which was attended by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry Dana Zoubi, Commissioner-General of Expo Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Secretaries-General from several ministries, representatives from chambers of industry and commerce, and the Expo executive team, focused on the development of the Jordanian pavilion. Discussions included the visitor experience, exhibits, events, and strategies for promoting Jordanian identity, investment, and industry at the Expo
.
Participants also reviewed committee members’ proposals to optimize Jordan’s participation, with Qudah directing all relevant parties to cooperate in overcoming any challenges faced by the executive team. He also instructed the formation of a committee comprising representatives from relevant authorities to follow up on issues related to the Expo.
Expo Osaka 2025, set to begin on April 13 and run for 186 days, will feature participation from 161 countries and international organizations, with an estimated 28 million visitors expected to attend.
