The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank increased by 0.32% during October compared with September, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials increased by 0.57%, while, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.23%. At the same time, the prices of labor costs and wages remained stable during October compared with the previous month.
The CCI for non-residential buildings in the West Bank also increased by 0.31% during October compared with September due to the increase of the prices of raw materials by 0.53%, while the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.32%. At the same time, the prices of labor costs and wages remained stable.
The CCI for skeleton buildings in the West Bank also increased by 0.51% during October compared with September due to an increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.82%, while, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.24%. At the same time, th
e prices of labor costs and wages remained stable.
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank decreased by 0.34% during October compared with September due to a decrease in the prices of rental of equipment by 0.75%, and the price of raw materials by 0.36%, while, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance slightly increased by 0.01%. At the same time, the prices of labor costs and wages remained stable.
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank slightly decreased by 0.06% due to the decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index by 0.42% while the Water Reservoirs Cost Index increased by 0.83%.
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) decreased by 0.11% during October compared with September, said the PCBS.
