The inaugural edition of the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair will be held from 13th-19th October under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

The event, held under the theme “Create the Future with Imagination”, is organised by the Higher Committee of Fujairah Children’s Book Fair and the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority at the Al Bayt Mitwahid Hall in Fujairah.

The fair will feature 40 publishing houses from various countries, with activities in different zones, namely the Main Stage, Imagination Zone, Adventure Zone, Creativity Zone, and Future Zone, and participation from educational, cultural, and artistic institutions from the UAE and abroad.

The Fujairah Children’s Book Fair celebrates children’s imagination, creativity and intellectual skills, promoting a culture of reading and exploration through various live experiences and interactive workshops led by children’s authors and experts.

The event will also highlight modern interactive technologies in r
eading and smart applications that support children’s creative thinking, scientific imagination, and learning and discovery skills.

Moreover, the fair offers diverse interactive workshops for children in Arabic and English, covering art, philosophy, story creation, drawing and various storytelling sessions.

The Fujairah Children’s Book Fair will feature panel discussions and open dialogues targeting adults, presented by experts and specialists in children’s literature. These discussions will address various topics, from interactive books to the importance of reading and children’s literature from tradition to creativity. A book signing corner will also be available at the fair.
