RAMALLAH: Palestinians today marched in Ramallah demanding an end to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 66th day, coinciding with the call for a global strike in solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip in the face of the genocidal war Israel is waging against them.
The march, called for by national and Islamic forces, professional and labor unions, civil society organizations, and popular committees, roamed the streets of the city, chanting slogans denouncing the crimes of the occupation and its ongoing massacres against the people of the Gaza Strip, and calling for national unity to confront the crimes of the occupation.
The participants raised a placard of the names of the thousands killed in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli aggression that started on October 7, and banners demanding an end to the genocide against the people in the Gaza Strip, rejecting the attempts of uprooting and displacement them, and denouncing the American position in support of the occupation in its
aggression against the Gaza Strip.
An event for children was also launched in Ramallah city center in which children wrote letters to their peers from Gaza, calling for the war to end and for them to be able to live in peace.
