IDSC launches 5th session of “Knowledge” meetings

The fifth session of the “Knowledge” meetings, which are co-organized by the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) and the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), is due to kick off on Sunday 07/05/2023.

The fifth meeting, running between May 7-8, will shed light on transition to smart governments, according to a statement issued by the IDSC on Saturday 06/05/2023.

The significance of the event comes in light of consecutive challenges posed by crises, prompting the acceleration toward transformation into smart governments, the statement added.

The acceleration toward conversion to smart governments has contributed to boosting global interest in adopting smart applications, leading to a raise by dlrs 21.9 billion in the market of smart government applications in the year 2021.

The global smart government market size is expected to reach dlrs 124.7 billion in the year 2031, with an estimated compound growth rate of 19.4 percent during the period between (2031-2022), according to estimates by Allied Market Research.
