Egypt, represented in the ICT Ministry, takes part in the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2022), set to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from February 28 to March 2.

The Egyptian delegation is to be headed by Information and Communications Technology Minister Amr Talaat.

Talaat is set to hold meetings with a number of ministers and officials of countries taking part in the event in addition to representatives of international organizations and major telecommunications and information technology companies.

The event is the leading global meeting for the mobile connectivity sector. After hosting a successful post-lockdown edition in 2021, MWC 2022 is expected to return in full force, turning the halls of Fira Barcelona – Gran Via into the main stage for the sector, inviting global mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors, and content owners. Each part of the connectivity ecosystem is represented, with both industry leaders and newcomers presenting state-of-the-art products and services. The four days of the fair help over 2,400 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors connect. With about two thirds of the leading industry decision-makers in attendance, MWC Barcelona 2022 will once again offer the highest level of networking activity and access to unique business opportunities.
