Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat will take part Monday 10/10/2022 in the 42nd edition of Dubai GITEX Global at the UAE Dubai World Trade Center.
The minister left on Sunday 9/10/2022 leading a high-level ministry delegation on a two-day visit to Dubai.
Taking part in the five-day gathering will be more than 5,000 exhibitors and as many as 100,000 participants representing 170 countries from around the world.
Talaat is expected to hold a number of meetings with senior officials of giant IT companies to discuss and keep them posted on the competitiveness, as well as the luring investment advantages of the Egyptian IT sector.
Attendees will include tech professionals, startup founders, government officials, investors, coders, developers and academics.
The minister of communications is also scheduled to partake in a key session, to be held on the sidelines of the event, highlighting the latest achievements of the IT sector’s related- industries in Egypt.
GITEX Global is a platform to gather and unite various communities under one roof – all having a significant role to play in the rapidly growing and evolving global digital economy.
