ABU DHABI: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, expressed his great sadness and sorrow on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, who passed away today.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and to grant patience and solace to the State of Kuwait, its people and Al Sabah family.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi said, “Today, we lost a great and a loyal leader who served his country and people in the positions he had held for decades, through which he contributed to strengthening the stature of Kuwait regionally and internationally. He also contributed, with his fellow leaders, to enhancing the journey of the Gulf Cooperation Council.”
Sheikh Khaled also wished further progress and prosperity for the people of Kuwait.
