Marrakech – Huawei is ready to support digitalization in Morocco with a rich catalog and long experience in this field, said Huawei Morocco Vice President Jason Chenxiaolei.
In an interview with MAP on the occasion of Gitex Africa 2024, Chenxiaolei noted that the Chinese company “has accumulated over 35 years’ experience in the field of digitalization, which it is ready to make available to Morocco.”
Chenxiaolei pointed out that Huawei is already working with three operators and several companies in Morocco to set up a high-quality network and digital infrastructure “to enable them to run their applications properly.’
Present in Morocco for 22 years, Huawei has ‘succeeded in identifying the challenges facing Morocco in the field of digitalization,” he said, adding that these challenges are “fairly classic” and that “Morocco has a suitable model for implementing the entire infrastructure.”
For Chenxiaolei, Morocco is ‘a leader in Africa and one of the best countries to invest in infrastructure and digitali
zation.”
“That is why, as part of Gitex Africa, we are organizing a summit for all our customers to help Morocco adopt the right vision and approach to digitization,” he added.
The manager of the Chinese company also praised the government’s support for digitalization initiatives, underlining that Huawei considers this to be ‘a major support for the new generation in Morocco.”
