Housing Minister Reviews Progress on Maspero Triangle Development


Cairo: Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif El Sherbiny, and Cairo Governor, Ibrahim Saber, chaired a meeting to discuss the development of the Maspero Triangle area, according to the Cabinet’s statement.



According to State Information Service Egypt, El Sherbiny highlighted that the Maspero Towers Project includes significant infrastructure, such as a basement parking area of 19,220 m² with a capacity for 353 cars, a ground floor commercial space of 16,970 m², and a first-floor parking area of 15,800 m² with space for 280 cars. The project aims to provide modern housing and commercial facilities in the area.



The development comprises two towers designated for alternative housing, where 936 units have already been allocated to eligible residents. Additionally, a third tower with 134 units spread over 23 floors, and a fourth administrative tower featuring a basement, ground floor commercial space, and 15 typical floors, are part of the project’s scope.



The minister also provided updates on the Nile Towers Project within Maspero. This project includes three residential towers, each 30 stories high, containing a total of 774 units of varying sizes. This initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize the Maspero Triangle and provide sustainable urban living solutions.
