Highest temperature of 47.2 celsius recorded in Jordan Valley

Amman: Deir Alla in the Jordan Valley Saturday recorded 47.2 celsius, the highest temperature, as the Kingdom swelters under a heat wave, the Meteorologay Department said.

It said up until 3:00 PM, the Jordan Valley region was followed by Baqoura in the north, where a maximum of 46.2 celsius was recorded, Aqaba 46 degrees, Wadi Rayan 45.8, Ghor Al Safi 45.6, Azraq 43.6, Khaldiyeh/Dhleil 42.4, Safawi 41.8, Zarqa 41.8, and Ramtha 41.4.
