Temperatures on Wednesday are predicted to be 5 to 6 degrees Celsius higher than normal for this time of the year. Therefore, the weather will be dry and relatively hot in the majority of the Kingdom, and hot in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD). In its daily update, the JMD expected clouds will form at high altitudes, while the winds will be southeasterly moderate to occasionally brisk, causing dust in the Badia. On Thursday, the Kingdom will have a pleasant air mass that will dramatically lower temperatures to below their normal rates, bringing back the moderate spring weather countrywide. Temperatures will continue to drop on Friday and Saturday, resulting in a generally pleasant weekend with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly brisk winds. Today’s peak temperatures will be between 35 and 33 degrees Celsius in Amman and various highlands throughout the Kingdom, with lows of 16 or even 14 degrees in the southern highlands at night. The Gulf city of Aqaba will have warmer weather, with highs of 41C and lows of 23C.
