Hezbollah targets Israeli army gatherings

Hezbollah announced on Friday that it targeted Israeli army gatherings with intensive missile bombardment, and technical equipment placed on a crane at the Abbad site.

Hezbollah said in a statement: ‘In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people:

At 09:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers in the Yiftah barracks and its surroundings with a large missile barrage.

At 07:20, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted technical equipment placed on a crane at the Abbad site with a guided missile, hitting it directly.

At 08:30, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli enemy soldiers in the Zevulun area, north of Haifa, with a barrage of rockets.

In turn, the Israeli army said in a statement that “in the last hour, an anti-tank shell was detected being fired from Lebanon towards the town of Yar’an, which resulted in the injury of two
civilians who were in the area,” announcing that “earlier today, the air force intercepted two drones that were on their way to Israeli territory from Lebanon. The drones did not penetrate the airspace and there were no injuries.”

He added: “Regarding the warnings in the Haifa Bay and Carmel areas between 8:30 and 8:31, the launch of about 25 rockets was detected that crossed from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted while a number of them fell in the area. As for the warnings in the Kiryat Shmona area at 8:19, the launch of one rocket was detected from Lebanon and fell in the area.”
