The Health and Population Ministry launched on Wednesday 13/7/2022 two new free-of-duty services to pilgrims returning home.
Health Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the two services aim at making sure that pilgrims did not contract any contagious diseases while performing hajj rituals through conducting necessary tests.
The first service will be offered at Egyptian hajj mission’s clinics in the kingdom and the second at Egyptian airports, he added.
Meanwhile, the spokesman said clinics of Egypt’s official Hajj mission in Madina and Mecca provided 19,553 Egyptian pilgrims with medical examination and treatment since they started arriving in the kingdom to perform pilgrimage.
He added that 30 pilgrims were admitted to hospitals since the start of hajj season and that 20 of them have already checked out while ten are still under medical observation.
