The Ministry of Health and Population on Friday announced a medical plan to secure today’s football match between Egypt and Senegal, set to be held at Cairo International Stadium.
This comes as part of the ministry’s plans to ensure medical security during all gatherings and events as well as applying the anti-coronavirus precautionary measures.
Health Ministry spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar said the plan includes deploying 19 ambulances at and around the stadium.
In addition, seven medical teams will be available inside the stadium to offer needed support in case of emergencies he said, adding that all surrounding hospitals have been put on high alert.
Four teams from the health ministry’s preventive medicine sector will be sent to the stadium to ensure implementation of all anti-coronavirus precautionary measures, he said.
