Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar convened a crucial meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Health to review and enhance the mechanisms governing the state-funded treatment system. The gathering aimed to apply governance and supervision criteria to ensure the efficient delivery of medical services to eligible recipients.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting included a comprehensive presentation on the operational mechanisms of the treatment system, which currently issues 10,000 treatment decisions daily. The discussions focused on optimizing these processes to improve service delivery and ensure that state-funded healthcare reaches those in need.
