Health Minister: Gov’t Discusses Steps to Facilitate Foreign Investment


Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, chaired a government meeting to discuss ways to attract more global investment and facilitate access to the Egyptian market.



According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting was attended by officials from many ministries and national authorities to review challenges facing foreign companies and propose practical steps to improve the business environment. Discussions included creating a unified electronic system for brand registration and establishing free zones to facilitate foreign investment.



Participants agreed on the need for urgent measures to simplify licensing procedures, especially in sectors like tourism, and to create a more competitive and investor-friendly market.
