Cairo: Egypt is ready to provide all medical services for the Palestinian injured people due to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, besides sending medical teams to the enclave if requested.
According to State Information Service Egypt, at the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Palestine, Egyptian Minister of Health Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar confirmed that Egypt is ready to provide all vaccines against polio, measles, German measles (Rubella), and mumps in preparation for vaccinating Palestinian children arriving from the Gaza Strip in quarantine at the Rafah border crossing.
The Health Minister announced that Egypt is ready to receive and treat the wounded Palestinians coming from Gaza after the end of the war. He added that if entry into the Strip to provide medical services is requested, the Egyptian Ministry of Health is ready with all its medical teams to do so, noting that Egypt has a complete map of all health work sites in Gaza.
The Egyptian Minister of Health and the Minister of Solidarity Maya Morsy arrived Saturday morning at the Rafah crossing as part of the intensive Egyptian efforts to ensure the progress of the final preparations for the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip. The two ministers had inspected the ambulance assembly and parking point in Rafah, which is scheduled to be dedicated to transporting wounded Palestinians.

Egypt has opened the registration for doctors who wish to volunteer to treat the wounded and injured as a result of the Israeli aggression inside the Gaza Strip, announced Head of the Egyptian Doctors Syndicate Osama Abdel-Hay on Sunday. ‘This initiative is part of the effort to compile lists of the required medical specialties, in line with the humanitarian and medical responsibilities that Egyptian doctors bear in supporting their Palestinian brothers,’ he said in a press statement. He noted that more than 2,000 are ready to volunteer and enter Gaza to treat the wounded.
