Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed on Sunday with Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi and his accompanying delegation means of fostering cooperation in pharmaceutical industries.
The meeting tackled cooperation in training Iraqi medical teams in various specialties, including pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, Abdel Ghaffar said.
Abdel Ghaffar expressed his readiness for transferring the Egyptian experience in conducting examinations under the umbrella of the presidential initiatives to improve Iraqi public health.
The minister also asserted the importance of determining the two countries’ needs and developing a work plan to achieve the best results in enhancing the two countries’ health sectors.
