Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, received, on Friday in Rabat, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Morocco, Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh.
The meeting is part of a working and cooperation visit by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the office of the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance in Rabat to discuss various security issues of common interest, according to a security source.
At the start of their exchanges, the source adds, the two parties reviewed the levels and forms of the distinguished cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of security, and examined the mechanisms for expanding this cooperation and raising it to the level of the distinguished ties between the two brotherly countries.
The two sides also discussed the security situation at international and regional level, mentioning the risks, threats and r
epercussions of several emerging crises in the international and regional environment of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties underlined the constant desire of the two brotherly countries to strengthen their security cooperation and to exchange their expertise and experience in the field of policing, so as to consolidate their common security, the same source stresses.
