Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences unveiled its new corporate identity during an event held today at the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Majlis in Zaabeel, Dubai.
The unveiling ceremony was hosted by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman of the Foundation and Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Hatta Sports Club.
The event was also attended by several dignitaries, members of the foundation’s board of trustees, as well as senior officials from various government entities, guests, media personnel, and foundation employees.
The ceremony began with a speech from Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, the Secretary-General and CEO of the foundation, extending a warm welcome to the attendees and delving into the significance and symbolism of the new identity.
A concise video, spotlighting the history of the educational institution and the medical award, was showcased, culminating in the unveiling of the new logo.

iling of the foundation’s new corporate identity, Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi stated, ‘We are pleased to announce the new corporate identity of the foundation. The foundation’s journey has been enhanced by the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. It has also garnered the thoughtful attention of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, along with the steadfast commitment of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan Al Maktoum to perpetuate this noble initiative in advancing medicine and education wherever the need arises and whenever the opportunity presents itself.’
He added, ‘The two initiatives, Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance and Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical and Educational Sciences, have attained noteworthy achievements over the past 25 years. The new foundation has inherited a rich portfolio
of projects and partnerships, a commendable reputation, and a prestigious position. This success is primarily credited to the late Sheikh Hamdan, may his soul rest in peace, as well as government empowerment, collaborative efforts with partners, and the positive response from the target audience. Aligned with the government’s directives, the foundation, under its new institutional identity, will persist in delivering optimal support and assistance alongside its partners. It is committed to providing premier services and solutions to the medical and educational sectors, steadfastly working towards the lofty goals for which it was originally established.’
He emphasised that ‘the new identity, including its logo and strategic system, reflects the goals and aspirations of the coming phase. We hope that, under the leadership of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan and its esteemed board of trustees, the foundation will successfully realise them.’
