Hamas: We stand in solidarity with our brothers in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance following the martyrdom of Nasrallah

The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” announced in mourning to the Palestinian people, the Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world, the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of “Hezbollah” Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, “who was martyred with a group of his brother leaders, in the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa and on the road to Jerusalem.”

In a statement, it offered “sincere condolences, sympathy, and solidarity to the Lebanese people and the brothers in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon,” while condemning the “barbaric Zionist aggression and targeting of residential buildings in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut.”

“Hamas” considered this a “cowardly terrorist act, a massacre and a heinous crime, which proves once again the bloodiness and brutality of this occupation…a rogue entity that disregards all international values, norms and charters, and has begun to blatantly threaten international security and peace, in light of international silence, helplessness and inact
ion.”

“We affirm that the Zionist occupation bears full responsibility for this heinous crime and its dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of the region, and the US administration also bears responsibility for its continued support for this occupation politically, diplomatically, militarily, security-wise and intelligence-wise, and its continued silence and failure to condemn, criminalize and stop this escalating Zionist terrorism against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples,” the statement underlined.

The “Hamas” Movement renewed its “absolute solidarity and support to its brethrens in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon in the battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa in defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the legitimate rights of the people and their aspirations for freedom, independence, and self-determination.”
