Hamas extends its condolences to Hezbollah, Lebanese people

Hamas Resistant Movement issued this Saturday the following: “We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), offer our sincere condolences to our brothers in Hezbollah and to the brotherly Lebanese people for the martyrdom of the great leader Ibrahim Aqil (Hajj Abdul Qader), who ascended to heaven with a group of martyred leaders, in a cowardly assassination operation carried out by the fascist occupation aircraft in the southern suburbs of Beirut, after a long and honorable career spent on the path of jihad and resistance.

The martyrdom of the great leader Hajj Ibrahim Aqil, on the road to Jerusalem, and in the heroic support battle that the Islamic Resistance is waging in Lebanon, in support of our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip alongside our brothers in the Axis of Resistance, confirms once again the unity of destiny and path, and we are all faithful and confident in God’s promise and His victory over the brutal Zionist occupation, which targets Palestine, Lebanon, and the security and stability of
the region. We mourn the leader Hajj Abdul Qader, and we offer our sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr, the brothers in the leadership of Hezbollah, and the brotherly Lebanese people.

We also appreciate the great sacrifices made by the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, and their insistence on continuing their support and backing of our people who are being subjected to a brutal genocide at the hands of the criminal neo-Nazi Zionists. We affirm that this crime committed by the occupation is a foolishness for which it will pay the price, and that the blood of the martyr leader Ibrahim Aqil, and the martyrs of our people and Ummah that was shed on the path to Jerusalem, will be a flame that will scorch this artificial entity, and a major step that will bring us closer to the elimination of the occupation from our blessed land and its uprooting from our Arab region, God willing.”
