GGROZNY: The Caucasus Investment Forum 2024 kicked off here on Monday, in the presence of President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.

The theme of this year’s Forum is ‘The Greater Caucasus: From Sea to Sea’, and its agenda will focus on key issues of the development of the North Caucasus Federal District with the aim of increasing the region’s investment attractiveness and ensuring its speedy economic and social development.

The Forum programme will also include business meetings, the signing of agreements, an extensive cultural itinerary, and interactive events.

The forum, attended by more than 60 speakers from different countries, will discuss the role of artificial intelligence in promoting business, investment, and regional development in the Caucasus. In addition, the forum will discuss the opportunities and possibilities of cooperation in the field of technology between Russia and Middle Eastern countries. Chechnya’s Finance Minister Sultan Tagayev told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the event that the UAE and the Republic of Chechen are linked by strong relations of friendship, affirming his country’s keenness to deepen the bonds of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields.

As part of the event, ten regions of the North Caucasus will be running stands to showcase their investment and economic potential, demonstrate their achievements in key development areas, and serve as a venue for holding meetings with potential partners and investors, exchange experience, and build new business ties.
