The Greek authorities announced Wednesday they discovered the charred bodies of 18 people in the fire-stricken areas of Dadia National Park on the border with Turkey. According to Euronews, the Civil Defence Force said the bodies found in the park were for suspected migrants, adding: “Since no one has been declared missing, we are operating on the assumption that they are illegal immigrants.” The fires in Greece are the largest in years, as the Greek Civil Defense Force warned that the risk of wildfires raging in almost all parts of the country “is very high.”
