Govt supports Egyptian businessmen abroad to invest in homeland- minister

Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said Friday that the government will offer full support to the Egyptian businessmen and investors abroad, who want to invest in projects inside the homeland through potentials available in the country and pro-investment policies, taken by Egypt.

Gendi’s comments came during her meeting with Egyptian businessmen Ashraf Rafael, who live in US, and one of the businessmen taking part in “Egypt can by investment” conference, to get familiar with his plans to pump more investments into Egypt, and to work on urging other Egyptian investors abroad to be aware on the investment potentials in Egypt.

The Ministry seeks reaching the Egyptian investors, living abroad, setting sustainable connections with them, linking them with all the bodies concerned to offer pro-business climate, Gendi said.

For his part, Rafael praised Gendi’s efforts on helping and supporting the Egyptian expats and attracting investments into Egypt through offering incentives to different businessmen and investors.
