The cabinet’s media center denied news reports about a decision to change the study period of the first semester in universities and institutes for the current academic year 2022/2023.

In a statement Saturday 22/10/2022, the center added it communicated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which refuted the news as baseless.

The ministry denied such reports, saying no decision was issued in this respect.

It urged different mass media to seek accuracy before publishing such baseless news.
