Mubaidin, for his part, emphasized that Jordan is continuing its ongoing efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah to stop the war on Gaza, protect civilians, and maintain the delivery of humanitarian and relief aid to the people in Gaza.
As part of its diplomatic efforts, Jordan will host an international conference for an emergency humanitarian response in Gaza on June 11, jointly organized by Jordan, Egypt, and the United Nations.
He pointed to Jordan’s relief efforts in supporting and alleviating the suffering of the people of Gaza as a result of the ongoing war on the Strip, in terms of facilitating trucks via the land bridge through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, in addition to airdrops carried out by the Jordan Armed Forces (JAf)- the Arab Army.
Regarding the government’s efforts to control prices, Mubaidin said that the cabinet reviewed the periodic report of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply on the measures taken to limit the rise in prices and maintain the str
ategic stock of basic materials.
He explained that the report monitored the average prices of 90 basic commodities, as the markets witnessed the stabilization of the prices of 56 basic commodities, the decrease of 28 others, while the prices of 6 commodities, including vegetables and meat, increased.
