Gharbia Governor Tarek Rahmy said the governorate attaches great importance to implementing Decent Life presidential initiative and the national project for developing the Egyptian countryside in all targeted villages in the various sectors.
In a statement on Friday, the governor said he is constantly following up on the status of the infrastructure projects in the governorate to remove any obstacles facing their implementation.
Rahmy added that works of delivering natural gas to Shershaba village were finalized at a cost of EGP 9,240 and 50 percent of works to supply drinking water to the village have been completed.
He added that the number of the sanitation projects in the governorate reached 83 and the drinking water projects hit 226.
Natural gas projects hit 54 and education projects reached 101, he said.
