Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Sunday that the government was working on offering incentives package to encourage the green economy projects amid Egypt’s interest in this field.
This came as Madbouli chaired a meeting to review the incentives, mulled over by the government to spur the green economy projects.
The meeting grouped Planning Minister Hala el Saeed, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad, and chairman of SCZone Yehia Zaki, along with other officials, cabinet spokesman Nader Saad said.
During the meeting, el Saeed noted that there is a cooperation and coordination among different ministries and agencies to put out a set of incentives, aimed at luring investments into the green economy projects.
The green economy projects target reducing environment pollution, emissions, encouraging recycling and waste management, along with the rationalization of water and energy uses.
