The Cabinet Sunday approved an amendment to the administrative structure of the Ministry of Education for 2023 to expand and develop vocational and technical education. According to the amendment, the position of Secretary-General for Vocational and Technical Education Affairs would be created in the Ministry, the Information Directorate and the Government Achievement and Performance Follow-up Unit. The Cabinet approved the mandating reasons for the draft student support fund bylaw in public Jordanian universities for 2023. The draft bylaw would be submitted to the Bureau of Legislation and Opinion for a sign-off. The Cabinet approved the mandating reasons for the draft bylaw for abolishing the scientific missions in the Ministry of Justice for 2023 since the Judicial Council is the sole authority responsible for sending students to the Judicial Institute and appointing them after graduation to the position of judge. The ministers approved the mandating reasons for the draft bylaw of the National Centre
for Security and Crisis Management for 2023 to develop the Centrr’s work to keep pace with best global practices, experiences and international standards related to disaster and emergency risk reduction and crisis management. The Cabinet approved the mandating reasons for a draft bylaw amending the temporary entry system for vehicles into the Aqaba Special Economic Zone for 2023.
