The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced that it has received (Platinum Accreditation) from IdeasUK in recognition of its excellence in managing new ideas and innovation.

IdeasUK is a network organisation that builds the capability of organisations in the field of innovation. This recognition reflects GCAA’s unwavering commitment to establishing a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence in the aviation sector.

On this occasion, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, GCAA Director-General, stated, “This accreditation is the result of continuous efforts to develop and establish a work environment capable of embracing and generating innovative and creative ideas, serving the strategic goals of the GCAA and enhancing the competitiveness of civil aviation services in the country.”

The accreditation is based on an evaluation process of the GCAA’s effective practices in fostering a culture of innovation and the resulting continuous improvement initiatives. This Platinum Accreditation positions the GCAA
among the leading organisations in promoting innovative practices.
