Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el-Gazzar followed up on the executive position of the ongoing projects in the service and utilities in the New Thebes City in Luxor Governorate.

The minister, meanwhile, directed to remove any obstacles that may hinder the implementation of the ongoing projects, in order to improve the living standards for citizens in Upper Egypt.

The minister further said a sewage treatment plant, with total capacity of 15,000 m3 of water per day has been finalized.

Other projects, worth EGP 200 million, including water stations and sewage treatment plants are currently being carried out in the New Thebes City built in Upper Egypt, added the minister.
