Gaza hospitals halt procedures for receiving bodies of 88 slain Palestinians from Gaza until information is complete

GAZA: Gaza Strip hospitals announced today the suspension of procedures for receiving the bodies of 88 people who were killed by Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip until information is complete.

They added in a statement that with the arrival of the bodies of 88 people from the Israeli occupation, without any data or information indicating the knowledge of their owners and the places where they were recovered, the procedures for receiving them have been suspended, until all data and information about these bodies are completed, so that their families can identify them.

They called on the Red Cross to carry out its duties according to the internationally applicable protocol regarding receiving and delivering the bodies, with the provision of data and details for each body.

Gaza hospitals also stressed the necessity of receiving the bodies according to humanitarian and international standards and in a manner that preserves rights to preserve the dignity of these bodies.
