Cairo: Intensive negotiations are scheduled to take place in Cairo on Tuesday to finalize the details of a comprehensive ceasefire agreement for Gaza, an informed source told Al-Qahera News. Egyptian and Qatari mediators are working relentlessly to secure a ceasefire deal as quickly as possible, the source added.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Emir of Qatar met with a Hamas delegation led by Khalil Al-Hayya to review progress in talks to achieve a long-term truce in Gaza. Sources close to the negotiations said the Qatari-mediated draft proposes a phased approach to ending the 15-month-long war in Gaza.
The framework reportedly includes steps to cease hostilities, facilitate humanitarian aid, and address reconstruction efforts in the war-torn region.
