Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea, Finance Minister Mohamed Maait and visiting Qatari Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed al Kuwari toured on Saturday the pavilion of “Our Heritage” exhibition for handicrafts and heritage products.
The exhibition is organized by the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) as part of activities of the 2022 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group in Sharm El Sheikh, which run on 1-4 June, according to a statement by the Agency.
Gamea said the pavilion is organized as per directives of the political leadership about supporting handicrafts.
The Agency is offering all forms of support for small-sized projects in the various fields to encourage Egyptian youth to have job opportunities.
In turn, Kuwari admired the quality products on display in the exhibition, saying it is important to promote vistas of joint cooperation in developing small and medium-sized enterprises.
Maait, for his part, pointed out the government has been always keen on providing incentives and simple taxation facilitation in the new law to develop the different enterprises.
