The General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR) and the American University in Cairo (AUC) signed Saturday a cooperation protocol on training medical cadres to be qualified for developing medical facilities for having GAHAR accreditation.
The move comes as part of GAHAR and AUC concerted efforts to improve the healthcare services in Egypt and achieving Egypt 2030 vision.
The cooperation between the university and the authority aims to prepare and graduate qualified medical cadres to provide safe and high-quality healthcare services in accordance with the accreditation standards, issued by GAHAR, and approved internationally by the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).
