Amman: General Union of Foodstuff Merchants (GAFJO) launched its 4th campaign, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO), to support people of the northern Gaza Strip, who are facing hunger by the continued brutal Israeli aggression and prevention of delivery of humanitarian aid and food supplies.
In a statement on Wednesday, GAFJO noted the campaign provides ready-made meals that are prepared and cooked in northern Gaza and distributes bread and drinking water to Palestinian citizens in the target areas.
GAFJO affirmed the new step is supported by its members and continues its three previous campaigns launched since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza, aimed to contribute to alleviate the human tragedy and war of extermination against Gaza people.
Additionally, GAFJO praised the Kingdom’s continued efforts, under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s leadership, at various levels to mobilize international support to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza people by all possible m
eans.
GAFJO also called on its members and workers in the food sector to back its campaign and provide support to people of the northern Gaza Strip, as part of the national duty to show solidarity with the strip’s citizens and provide all forms of aid and assistance to stop the humanitarian catastrophe, caused by Israel’s aggression.
