The funeral of veteran actress Aida Abdul Aziz was held Friday at the police mosque in Sheikh Zayed city in Giza.
Abdul Aziz’s family members, fans, and head of the Egyptian Syndicate of Actors Ashraf Zaki attended the funeral.
The veteran actress died Thursday, aged 86, after a long struggle with Alzheimer disease.
Born in Benha city, Abdul Aziz graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in 1959 and had a training course in London.
