According to AFP, Barro said during a press conference in Beirut: “I urge Israel to refrain from any ground incursion and cease fire, and I call on Hezbollah to do the same.”
Barrot, the first diplomat to visit Lebanon since Israel escalated its raids on several areas of the country, urged “all parties” to “seize the opportunity now” to accept the UN ceasefire proposal, noting that “it is still on the table.”
