The Foreign Ministry and the United Nations team in Egypt have held a joint celebration in Cairo to mark the United Nations Day and commemorate the 76th anniversary of successful partnership.

The UN information center in Cairo said in a statement on Monday8/11/2021 that the event was attended by a host of key government officials, diplomats and representatives of UN agencies and bureaus in Egypt.

The celebration shed light on historic and successful partnership between the UN and Egypt and means to address global challenges.

The event also reviewed different domains of cooperation and partnership between the UN and Egypt and efforts exerted by the international organization in Cairo to support the government’s efforts on speeding up the sustainable development goals.
