Egypt’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ayman Kamel on Sunday took Asian ambassadors accredited in Cairo on a tour of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, where they were received by Minister Ashraf Sobhy.

In a press statement, the Foreign Ministry said the visit aimed to introduce Egypt’s vision regarding the sports and youth domain to Asian ambassadors and ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand.

The meeting touched on the national youth strategy and projects aiming to upgrade sporting facilities across the country.

They also discussed means of promoting cooperation between Egypt and Asian countries as regards establishing new sporting facilities using the latest international standards with the participation of the private sector.
