The Foreign Ministry has organized a number of briefings for all embassies operating in Cairo throughout the week to highlight the outcome of the COP27.

The Foreign Ministry, in a statement Sunday, said that Mohamed Nasr, director of the environment and sustainable development department, took part in the briefings and reviewed the outcome of the COP27.

Foreign ambassadors to Egypt attended the briefings, as well as representatives of the EU and the UN office in Cairo, the statement added.

The briefings focused on tangible results of the COP27 and underlined the importance of action to achieve goals of the “Paris Agreement” and the international climate agenda.
