Italian authorities have arrested the killers of Egyptian citizen Mohamed Ibrahim, who was found dead inside his car in a remote area in Cilavegna commune in Italy’s Lombardy, the Consular sector at the Foreign Ministry announced Saturday 25/02/2023.

Personal disputes between the victim and the family of the mother of his Italian daughter were discovered to be the motivation for the crime, it added in a statement.

Additional suspects in relation to the incident are being sought, the sector said.

The Egyptian Consulate in Milan is making extensive contacts with the relevant Italian authorities to follow up on the investigation and ensure that the body would be brought home once the necessary legal procedures are finalized.
