Foreign Ministry: Israel underestimates the convening of ICJ, continues to commit more massacres in Gaza

RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today that Israel underestimates the convening of International Court of Justice (ICJ), and continues to commit more mass massacres against Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Ministry said, in a statement, that Israel’s persistence in its devastating war against Palestinians in Gaza is a clear evidence of its failure to respect all international appeals and demands to protect innocent civilians, bring humanitarian aids, and allow the displaced individuals to return to the northern Gaza Strip.

The Ministry said that the continuation of committing war crimes by Israeli occupation forces for the 99th day in a row constitutes a disregard for any procedures or legal decisions that the court may resort to.

The Ministry emphasized that reports and media agree on a tangible Israeli escalation during those hearings against the displaced individuals, whether in Khan Yunis, in the central of Gaza, or in Rafah, where Israeli military air force committed 13 de
adly massacres during the past 24 hours, resulting in the killing of nearly 151 and 248 wounded.

Meanwhile, the Ministry condemned the acts of violence and war crimes committed by Israeli forces and colonial settlers, and the settlements expansion in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The Ministry further denounced the killing of 19-year-old Khaled Al-Zubaidi who died after being brutally assaulted and beaten up by Israeli soldiers in the town of Zeita, north of Tulkarm. It also condemned Israel’s obstructing of residents’ movement, which force them to take longer routes to reach their destinations.
