RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the international community as well as the United Nations and its competent institutions to assume their responsibilities and stop the genocide and the crimes of the occupation and its colonists.
The ministry, in a statement issued today, demanded the provision of international protection to the Palestinian people.
The statement called for taking the necessary binding measures in accordance with international to implement the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the legal consequences arising from the prolonged Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory since 1967.
The ministry stressed that it views with great concern the escalation of the bloody incursions by the occupation forces into Palestinian towns, villages, camps and cities, which have led to a significant increase in the number of casualties.
