For the first time, Israeli forces deploy heavily behind segregation barrier north of Tulkarem

In an unprecedented move, Israeli occupation forces this evening deployed military armored vehicles in lands located behind the segregation barrier near the village of Aqaba and the town of Qaffin, north of Tulkarem, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to a local official. Head of Aqaba village council, Taysir Amarneh, told WAFA that artillery and armored vehicles were positioned and heavily-armed soldiers were deployed in lands located only 50 meters behind the barrier. The official noted that these lands belong to the village residents and are planted with olive trees.
