Cairo: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs convened a meeting on Tuesday, 19 November 2024, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr Hefny, to discuss the implementation of the outcomes of the recent Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The forum took place in Beijing from 4-6 September 2024 and saw the participation of the Prime Minister representing the President of the Republic.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting facilitated an exchange of views among ministries to explore opportunities presented in the FOCAC Action Plan (2025-2027) between China and Africa. The discussions aimed to maximize the benefits from the strategic partnership and foster collaboration through the outlined action plan.
