Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty hailed during a telephone call with his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov the ongoing development in bilateral ties between Egypt and Azerbaijan on all fronts.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty highlighted the significance of high-level mutual visits exchanged by both nations. He emphasized that Egypt is keen to leverage the momentum from these visits to enhance joint cooperation and achieve a significant advancement in the historic relations between the two countries across various domains.
The foreign minister expressed Egypt’s ambition to strengthen economic cooperation, increase trade exchange, and boost investments. He also highlighted the potential for enhancing economic partnerships between the private sectors of both nations.
Furthermore, the Egyptian top diplomat stressed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination with Azerbaijan at international forums, aiming to maintain and further develop the robust ties between the two countries.
